  3. METHODOLOGY & LEARNING STYLES At SanskarJyoti we strive to build on the inherent curiosity of children, reinforcing their enthusiasm to learn. Competence in language, reading, mathematics, science and technology will be developed systematically and rigorously. Teachers will integrate subject knowledge with the immediate experience of children, making learning exciting and relevant. Children need to manipulate, explore, and experiment with real objects. Our focus on co-curricular activities ensures that we provide a balance of work and play. Activities outside of the classroom will also give students the opportunity to add knowledge, learn new skills and practise familiar ones. They will learn to deal with their feelings, interact with children and adults, and resolve conflicts.

Students will be taken regularly on educational excursions within and outside the city. These will be meticulously planned to give a wide range of experience. Exposure to varied cultures and traditions beyond India’s borders will make SanskarJyoti global citizens in the true sense. The school will have sister schools in other parts of the world for regular student and staff exchanges.

  9. LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS The vision statement of SanskarJyoti emphasizes on making our students young leaders with conviction and the ability to voice their opinion. The school will have a strong empowered student council as a part of the administration of the school. The teachers will be catalysts in this endeavor. The school will earmark forty minutes each day for a mentoring programme aimed at this objective.
