Reflection

Reflection In the Gospel (Mark 10:46-52) Jesus meets a blind man who was calling out to him by the side of the road as he walked.   Jesus asked the blind man, “What do you want me to do for you?”  The man answered, “Master, I want to see.”  What am I asking God to do or bring about in my life today? Prayer Gracious God, direct our hearts and our attitudes to live with hope and trust in Your goodness and in the goodness of others around us… family, friends, co-workers, and all we serve.  Open our eyes to see beauty and goodness as they are revealed in the events of our day.  Amen

5. Reflection Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)  Do you feel burdened or overwhelmed in any way with the activities and expectations of this busy holiday season?  What can you do to slow the pace and enjoy the days and celebrations more? Prayer Merciful and Loving God, help us to keep the true focus and purpose of the Advent and Christmas Season in our hearts and in our lives.  Help us to find ways to slow the pace and reflect on Your coming into our lives each day.  Amen
