  8. Text 1 S/He experienced many things in his/her life, from being tortured to becoming president of the country s/he loved. S/he fought for the equality for blacks and racial unity. It put him/her in prison for 27 years. S/he also won the Nobel Peace Prize, in 1993, and diedonthe 5th of December, 2013, aged 95.

  9. Text 2 S/he was born in Albania in 1910, and died in 1997. S/he became famous over the world for starting the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India. S/he looked after the poor, sick, orphaned, and dying. S/he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for his/her humanitarian work.

  10. Text 3… X is one of the most famous musical artists ever. S/He shot to fame as one of The Beatles. S/he also helped shape the social revolution of the 1960s. X also got fame as a peace activist. X was born in Liverpool in 1940. X sang a song that became an anthem for anti-war movements. On 8th December 1980, X was shot and killed outside his New York apartment by a fan.
