My favorite Museums… • Consider themselves a partner in our efforts to bring visitors to the Fredericksburg Region • Team Players • Work within the system • Communicate with us often – and far in advance of special events and unique programming • Carefully consider the Visitor Experience in their planning and when making key decisions about hours of operation, pricing and policy • Consider the external user over the internal one • Strike an appropriate balance between preservation and interpretation
My favorite museums work to create consistent, compelling, and relevant interpretation for the traveling public. So that, in my Marketing and Public Relations efforts what I tell a potential visitor they will experience when they arrive in Fredericksburg they will actually experience.
