FDTA • There are four major points to note for FDTA: • Don’t try to call Montgomery. • Remember that there’s no emergency button. • Scan FDTA. • Maintain proper radio procedures.
Failsoft • Failsoft Rules: • Keep quiet unless you have something vitally important to say. • Stay on the same talkgroup. • Turn scan feature off. (Remember to turn it back on when out of failsoft.)
