This Department is considered as the prominent statistical and probabilistic departments in the whole of Ukraine. It has served with a proud and long record of quality teaching, consulting and research facilities with complex and challenging applications in the field of statistics, especially in insurance and economics.
Mathematics is an indispensable language that solves real world issues in the fields of business, engineering, and science. Statistics is the science as well as the language of information. Studying statistics and mathematics together gives the students important tools to explore the interpretation of data in business and practical applications.
This Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics at KNU OU has been created for those students who want to explore the mathematical structures of several random systems like the stock market or the world economies, health care industry or weather forecasting.
The curriculum helps the students build up a firm foundation in the fields of calculus, numbers theory, linear algebra and probability and makes them learn how to use software tools as professionals for data analysis and mathematical applications.

Admission Criteria • Direct Entry into the second, third or final year is possible (transfer credits from another university). • This program is equivalent to EQF (European Qualifications Framework) Level 6 - Bachelor Level • European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System: 240 ECTS
Duration: + 4 years • Age: Minimum age 18 years • Previous study: High School Diploma or equivalent • Fee: 1990 Euro per year
