  1. Welcome! Please sign in at the table by the door then take a few minutes to write a NOTE TO YOUR STUDENT (hand-outs found next to sign-in sheets). Please deposit it in the blue tray on your way out. We will begin our presentation in just a moment…

  6. Language Arts Homework 10% Participation 10% Class work 25% Essays/Projects 20% Tests/Quizzes 35% Late work • 1 day late = 10% deduction • 2+ days late = 50% deduction • Teacher reserves the right to not accept late work if an excessive amount of time has passed since date due.

Social Studies Participation 10% Projects/Reports 25% Notebook* 30% *includes class work and homework Tests/Quizzes 35% Late work: • Assignments must be complete and on time to receive full credit. • Late assignments will receive a maximum of half credit and must be completed by the end of the unit.

  8. Homework Policy – Absences Absences • After return to school, student is responsible for getting missed notes/assignments, turning in work, and/or making up tests or quizzes. • Student has until the following Monday to make up work without penalty. • If make-up work is not turned in by the following Monday, the late work policy for the corresponding subject will apply.
