Core Belief/Philosophy Human beings are intrinsically good– teachable, perfectible. Goal – to achieve the five virtues, and acquire wisdom. Everyone has duties toward different people. If they are carried out, then the society would be stable and harmonious. Doesn’t focus on the afterlife, while not denying there is heaven.
Confucius Says… "If you look into your own heart, and you find nothing wrong there, what is there to worry about? What is there to fear?" "If we don't know life, how can we know death?“
