Threaded inserts will be used in hole locations Lid The lid will be milled from titanium. Holes will be spot faced, then drilled. After all milling and drilling is finished the letter embossed piece will be burned on with an EDM. Housing Top The Top of the Base will be injection molded. Threaded inserts will be used in hole locations. Bezel The bezel will be injection molded. Presumed Process Capabilities Rules and Guidelines Main purpose: The customer profile is constrained mainly to rich or ‘upper crust’ possibly even hard core gamer types. Due to the high consumer margin, the production volume will be low. Durability: Durability is to be moderate. The product should not by any means be fragile. A 2 foot drop should be with stainable by the product with minimal to no damage. Aesthetics: The use of expensive materials and processes are available. The aesthetics are to be suave yet sleek. Customizability is also a must. Colors and hardware modifications are to be considered. The user interface should be impressive. A consistent sheen yet contrasting colors should be prevalent. Each mechanism should be smooth and function at moderate speed.
