Why eQuote? • Compatibility issues with Office 2010, Windows, etc. • Download, install, registration and activation cumbersome and problematic • Multiple installations necessary for some users • Program expired yearly requiring re-activation • Many users’ networks and admins block 3rd party software installations • Periodic updates required new patch downloads, field testing, communication, download, install, etc. • User Quote database not “sharable” by others at your company • Old Program will no longer be available or supported

  4. eQuote (web based system) benefits • No 3rd party software to download, update, or activate • 1 time registration required (approval by PFC) • Transparent updates and improvements at any time • User access from any computer (Mac or PC) with internet access (any browser) • All quotes can be made visible and/or editable by any user in same company (permissions set by PFC) • NEW cart feature allows for price checking and frequently quoted items without creating quote • Users manage own account profiles, quotes and customers (PFC has no visibility into users’ info)

  7. Registration (required for ALL users) • Even users of Quote Program must REGISTER and create password • Must input all contact info, corporate eMail & password (login)

Registration (required for ALL users) • Even users of Quote Program must REGISTER and create password • Must input all contact info, corporate eMail & password (login) • PFC will review info and approve • Upon approval registrants will receive confirmation eMail (check junk/spam filter) • All users are strongly encouraged to also sign up to receive ProMinent eNews for important eQuote news (unless already receiving it)

  9. Registration (required for ALL users) • Upon approval, simply enter your corporate eMail/password to login • Remember password! (if forgotten, it can be reset by user (not PFC))

Tips to remember • Take advantage of browser features • Right click and select “open in new tab or window” • Use browser “back”, “forward” and “refresh” buttons • When prompted to save open windows and tabs, do so • Update your browser to the latest version (FREE) • eQuote works in all browsers on PC and Mac • My favorite browser is Firefox • Write your username/password for future reference (not necessarily your XTRANET username/password) • ProMinent CANNOT see or create user passwords (reset password on home page) • eQuote displays only ProMinent list pricing (NO DISCOUNTS YET)

Planned enhancements coming soon! • Automatic discount calculations • Ability to input known ident codes & part numbers • Sharable contacts (within your own organization) • More robust quote line item restructuring • Enhanced PES system quoting • Price “quick” check from home page (without creating cart item or quote) • More precise capacity and pressure calculation based on configuration (instead of published ranges) • Improved exporting • HELP section (tutorial, FAQ’s)
