Original data analyses reveal the extent of teacher control over curriculum and pedagogy, emphasis on instructional objectives, use of reform-oriented objectives, class activities frequency, and student engagement in computer science practices. The research sheds light on the factors influencing teaching practices in high school computer science classes.
