Elements and Principals of design Form Line Balance Repetition Shape Texture
Shape and Dimension; Mathematical Concepts Mathematical Concepts Sydney Opera House-There are many lines. There is pattern and repetition because the sails keep on repeating. Sails are again like triangles. Other Buildings-patterns, In the Kuwait National Assembly the cylinders keep on repeating. Symmetry-All of his buildings are asymmetrical. Geometric shapes- In his buildings(Excluding the Sydney opera house) he uses geometric shapes. To make the building look complete. Shape And Dimension Sydney Opera House-The sails are like triangles. Uses organic shapes. 3D shapes. Dynamic-The sails look like their moving. There is a lot of positive space . Other Buildings-Geometric-Every building, he has at least 2 geometric shapes. He uses positive space and leaves very little negative space. Obviously there are 3D shapes and no 2D shapes. They are static and dynamic.
My Masterpiece There is asymmetrical balance. Form Line Shape-Organic and geometric CoolFeatures- There are invisible pillars made of transparent glass to hold the sails. There is a fountain inside each wall with pillars You can only get there by boat
