E-commerce makes it easier for people to shop by making it possible to buy from your home rather than taking a trip to a store that may be 5 minutes to an hour away or no where close to you at all • Shopping online allows you to have a more broad stock and selection of merchandise enabling you to sell more of something with out selling out • Offering e-commerce also helps to bring in more profit to a company by making it more available Advantages to doing business this way

A disadvantage is that online shopping lacks human contact so there is no forced persuasion on the buyer • A customer is showed a picture of the product and they have to trust the product they are sent is good quality • Shopping online charges additional shipping fees and can take a while to ship to you Disadvantages to e-commerce
