THE JOURNEY • Huck Finn is a journey-novel. on a practical level, it is a physical journey. But there are other levels to the journey metaphor: • Journey of Satire: Twain mocks and satirizes a lot of different people as Huck floats down the river • Moral Journey: Huck must try and do the “right thing” as he floats down the Mississippi.
