Oregon’s QRIS Process All Programs: • Attend Increasing Quality Training Session • Receive training and materials needed to: • Understand the QRIS Process • Apply to participate • Application Process • Complete & submit the following to TRI/WOU: • Memorandum of Understanding • Program Self-Assessment • Application Field Test 2013-2014 If doesn’t meet Program informed and invited to reapply when eligible • C2Q compliance verification performed • Programs must meet following to achieve C2Q Designation • Length of time in business (2 years) • Compliance history requirement – no more than 2 serious valid findings in past 2 years • Request Supports • Sign agreement with QIS • Complete Quality Improvement (QI) plan on own or with assistance of QIS. • Submit Request for Support form & W-9 with copy of QI Plan to TRI/WOU to request Support Funds If meets • C2Q Welcome Kit sent • Includes: Certificate, Portfolio, Quality Improvement Plan, Professional Development plans, information on supports (monetary and non-monetary) and how to proceed. Don’t complete portfolio – stay at C2Q No supports requested • Submit Annual Report to TRI/WOU to maintain C2Q • Implement QI Plan with ongoing support • QI Specialist from CCR&R • Websites: OregonQRISResources.org & www.wou.edu/tri/qris • Support Funds (one time only) • Complete Portfolio • Receive portfolio support from TRI/WOU if needed • Compile evidence and complete portfolio • Submit portfolio to TRI/WOU for Review Program makes additional improvements and/or includes additional evidence in portfolio & resubmits. Portfolio Reviewed 2nd compliance check completed and reviewed for eligibility for star rating Compliance check completed Star Rating Level Determined CLASS Observation for programs seeking 5-Star rating Continue QRIS Process to move up star rating level • Submit Annual Report to • TRI/WOU Program: Receives Incentive funds & recognition materials. Employees: Receive Ed awards from OCCD YES Star rated NO Remain C2Q Written feedback given and returned with portfolio Remain at current level Key: TRI/WOU = Teaching Research Institute/Western Oregon University QI Plan = Quality Improvement Plan C2Q = Commitment to Quality QIS = Quality Improvement Specialist Rev 11-4-13
