  3. On a dark Saturday night in 1992, I was at home. There was no electricity because of the snow. There was no heat and there was no light. It was very quiet.

  4. Then I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw my friend Orna, standing in the snow. Orna is a doctor.

  5. Orna:- Hi, Beth. Beth: Hi Orna. Come in!. I made some nice warm soup. Would you like some??

  6. Orna:- yes, please. I’m so cold! Beth: why are you out in this weather

  7. Orna:- I just walked home from Golani Junction Beth: what?! That’s five kilometers! In the snow!!

  8. Orna:- well, I worked in the hospital on Friday and Shabbat. I wanted to come home. I got to Golani Junction in the car.

  9. Orna:- When I got there, the snow was to deep. I had to leave the car there and walk. I got as far as your house. I can’t walk anymore.
