Why are we being so didactic • ARCP is multi faceted • Takes a huge amount of preparation • We are all busy people • We frequently overrun • Provide the following envelopes for us to keep

Clinical training envelope • For each job accessed in this ARCP • green forms (training post assessment ) • yellow forms (trainee assessment ) • Two clinical supervisors then two each of above forms • NB At the end of each post: • 1. OCAP envelope • For each job accessed in this ARCP • OCAP PBA summary sheet and PBAs • Trainer profile • Learning agreement meeting 1.2.3 • Procedures profile (complete it properly) • Knowledge profile (complete it properly) • DOPS/MiniCex/CBD/MiniPAT – ST2 only • ST1/ST2 Complete Topics and Competencies chart – ST2 only • Use diplomacy to get your forms completed • For total training • OCAP PBA summary sheet For further info go to www.ocap.org.uk . Study Leave Envelope • For each meeting/course attended during the ARCP period • Name/date • Educational goals • Value for money • Do you recommend it • Specifics on how it has changed your practice
Keep in your portfolio • Your Monday meeting attendance. • Every Monday must be accounted for, including annual and study leave. • At worst 80% attended, 20% valid excuses • Email Susan White in advance of the leave • Bring a copy of that correspondence with you • ST2 attendance is only compulsory if your job plan allows it • Other information that you want the panel to consider.
