Believing in all of Allah’s Prophets and Messengers without any exception is a part of the Muslim faith. Allah says: "Say, We believe in Allah and the revelation given to us, and that given to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaaq and Yaqoob and the Sons (of Yaqoob), and that given to Musa and Esaa (Jesus), and that given to all the prophets from their Lord. We have no prejudice against anyone of them, and to Him we submit.“ [Qur’an 2:136]
The Prophet is a person who is given special information - revelation - by Allah to guide the people to the right path. The revelation will be through: • Inspiration • Direct speech, as in the case of Musa, Allah says: "When Musa came to the meeting with Us and his Lords spoke to him." [Qur'an 7:143] • An angel - Jibreel - would bring the revelation to the Prophet
All nations had Messengers. Allah says: "For every nation there is a Messenger. [Quran 10:47] The number of Prophets as reported by Muhammad (peace be upon him) is 124,000. We do not all of them -some of them were mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah - but we believe in all of them. The first Messenger was Nooh (peace be upon him) and the Messenger was Muhammad (peace be upon him).

All Of Allah’s Prophets (peace be upon them) had one purpose and goal: saving the people from misguidance, and leading them from darkness to light, they: • Called to worship Allah alone. Allah says: "We did not send any Messenger before you Muhammad (peace be upon him) but have revealed to him that there is no true God except me. So worship Me." [Qur'an 21:25] • Guided to goodness and warned the people from evil. Allah says: "We made them (Prophets) leaders guiding by Our command." [Qur’an 16:36]
• Brought glad news and warned from punishment. Allah says: "We do not send the messengers except as carriers of glad news and as warners." [Qur'an 18:56] • Established the evidence against the people. Allah says: "The messengers bring glad news and warn so that the people will have no argument against Allah after the messengers. Allah is always Mighty and Wise. [Qur'an 4:165] • Brought law and justice to humanity. Allah says: "We have surely sent Our messengers wit the clear signs. And We sent down with them the Scripture and the balance, so that the people would establis justice." [Qur'an 57: 25]
• Allah gave them miracles. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Every single prophet was given miracles that make the people believe in him.“ For example: -Allah gave Musa the stick -Allah gave Esa (Jesus) (peace be upon him) the power heal and bring back the dead - Allah gave Muhammad (peace be upon him) the Qur'an, an everlasting miracle
• Allah enabled them to deliver the message fully. Allah says: "0 Messenger! Proclaim which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, ther you have not conveyed the message. Allah will protect you from mankind.“ [Qur'an 5:67] • Allah gave them victory in this life, and in the hereafter Allah says: "Indeed, We give victory to our Messengers and the believers during the worldly life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand." [Qur'an 40:51]
