  4. Scientists Search for Human Origins Archeologists – study evidence such as bones and artifacts Artifacts – human-made objects (tool, jewelry, etc.) Anthropologists – study culture Culture – people’s unique way of life Paleontologists – study fossils

At one point,…she [the female hominid] stops, pauses, turns to the left to glance at some possible threat or irregularity, and then continues to the north. This motion, so intensely human, transcends time.”
