God’s witness is the evidence of His Grace. (Water, Blood & Spirit)
The believer indwelt with the Holy Spirit and Son is the fourth witness.
This result is based on the grace of God and your positive volition toward the testimony of God regarding His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
As the fourth witness you have responsibilities. Col 1:28-29
The responsibility of ALL believers: 1) Proclaim Him.2) Admonishing every man.3) Teaching every man with all wisdom.
2) Instructing the believer in Biblical terms (not in your own terms), in regards to overcoming sin and the sin nature. 2 Cor 13:1-8
3) This means being prepared by: a) Having the Word resident in your own soul, and
b) Instructing the believer in terms of general life application of the Word.
Col 1:28-29, “…so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”
“Be made complete” KATARTISIS means restoration, training, education, discipline, preparing, an equipping.
As witnesses for Christ, it is our responsibility to deliver the Gospel message to the unbeliever, and bring new or reversionistic believers to maturity.
“What is necessary for someone to gain salvation?”“What are the foundational teachings of Christianity?”
The Apostles Creed1) I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth: 2) and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; 3) who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, 4) suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hades;
The Apostles Creed5) the third day He rose again from the dead; 6) He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; 7) from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
The Apostles Creed8) I believe in the Holy Spirit; 9) the holy catholic (the entire, whole, one body) Church; the communion of saints, 10) the forgiveness of sins; 11) the resurrection of the body,12) and the life everlasting. Amen. (Italic mine)
