  2. Charles W. Colson • As special counsel to President Richard Nixon, Charles W. Colson played a role in the Watergate scandal.

  3. John Ehrlichman • John Ehrlichman, President Richard Nixon's domestic affairs adviser from 1969 to 1973, was imprisoned for his participation in the Watergate scandal.

  4. Richard Kleindienst • Richard Kleindienst was appointed President Richard Nixon's attorney general on June 12, 1972, just five days before the Watergate break-in. The scandal, which consumed Kleindienst's 11-month tenure and led to his resignation, tarnished his otherwise admirable legal career. • Picture on next slide.

  5. H.R. Haldeman • H.R. Haldeman presided over the most notorious White House staff of the 20th century. Haldeman was convicted of perjury, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice for his role in the cover-up of the Watergate scandal.

  6. Bob Woodward • Bob Woodward is a journalist and author who became famous when he and fellow reporter Carl Bernstein uncovered the Watergate scandal while working for The Washington Post.
