  1. ABOUT PASM Parul Arogya Seva Mandal was established in the year 1989 with an aim to serve the poor and needy by providing them good education, medical facilities and employment. With these three goals in view, the mission of achieving the same spread to different parts of Gujarat by way of charitable / free OPDs, hospitals and educational institutes. Apart from these, the Trust has created awareness in preventing HIV and AIDS in the society. It also has conducted workshops at the grassroots level for family planning educating the public of the menace of population explosion.

  2. The founder of the Trust, Dr. JAYESHBHAI PATEL, a renowned homoeopath himself is known for his compassion for the poor and needy. He set himself on the mission to eradicate the malnourishment of the mind and body of the society. To accomplish this, it was necessary to educate the common man to the perils of ill-health and unemployment. To achieve this goal, the Trust started medical and paramedical courses along with engineering and management programmes. The Trust gives out several scholarships every year to the poor and meritorious students encouraging more and more underprivileged people to take education. The focus is also on contributing towards improving the quality of life of the society.

Rules for Biz Buzz (Business Quiz) • Elimination Round • Each team would be given a set of question papers containing 15 objective type questions. • Time limit - 15 minutes. • Only 6 Teams would be selected for STAGE ROUNDS. • In case of tie between 2 or more teams, further 3 questions would be asked for final selection. • Stage Rounds • First Round • Each team would be asked 2 questions. ( Objective questions) • 10 marks for correct answer, and no negative marking for wrong answer. • If a team cannot answer the question, then the question would be forwarded to the next team. • Only 5 teams would be selected for the 2nd Round. • Answering time is only 30 seconds. • Bonus questions

Second Round • This Round would be the Buzzer Round. • 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong or no answer if team Buzzers. • Only 3 teams would be selected for the last Round. • Answering time is only 30 seconds • Bonus questions. • Third Round • This Round would be the Audio-visual round. • 10 marks for the correct answer and negative 5 marks for the wrong answer • Each Team would be asked 2 audio-visual questions. • Answering time is only 30 seconds. • If a team cannot answer the question, than the question would be forwarded to the next team. • ** SURPRISE ROUND IN CASE OF TIE IN THE FINAL ROUND

Path Finder (Treasure Hunt) • First Round • Elimination Round according to the number of participants. • One member of each team has to give a written test (Objective type) • The test consists of three topics • Fill in the blanks (About International news) • Objectives (About India) • Su-Do-Ku (Medium Level) • 10 Teams will be selected out of all teams according to the test for 2nd round.

  7. Second Round • Having six clues 1) Hidden 2) Hidden 3) Hidden 4) Hidden 5) Hidden 6) Hidden

  8. Rules • The team who will come first with more clues in the given time, that team will be considered the winner. • The second team will be the runners-up. • The third team will be the 2nd runner-up.

  9. Frontiers-2010 (Research Paper) • Topic: Green entrepreneurship for sustainable life style in the developing world. • Rules: • 2 members per team. • Abstract- 250 to 300 words. • Maximum pages 10. • Font- Times New Roman. • Heading font size 16. • Text size- 12.

  10. Paper size A4. • Margin 1 inch all sides • Reference should be mentioned in the last page in apa style. • Participants have to submit the soft copy on or before 10th February 2010 to the following E mail ID: varudhini_ch@yahoo.com • Hardcopy by the participants should submit at the registration counter on the date of event. • 10 min will be given for presentation of Research paper to each team. • 5 min for the question answer round.
