Chemically based classification • Mineralogy based classification • Mineral Contain based classification Teknologi dan Rekayasa
A. CHEMICHAL BASED CLASSIFICATION • Stone sour frozen, is frozen when the rock contains 66% more ₂ SIO. Example of this rock: Granite, Rhyolit. • Stone intermediet frozen (medium): if the rock is frozen 52% -66% SIO ₂. Example of this rock Diorite, andesite. • Stone frozen basa, when the rock is frozen contain 45% -52% SIO ₂, rock samples and this Gabro Basal. • Stone ultra frozen basa, when the rock is frozen contains <45% SIO ₂, this example is a rock Peredotit and Dunit.
B. Mineralogy Based Classification Basic color classification comparison index and felsic minerals mefic (SJShand, 1943). 1.Leococratic rock, rock when frozen in 30% of the mafic minerals. 2.Mesocatic rock, is frozen when the rock contains 30% -60% mafic minerals. 3.Melanokratic rock, is frozen when the rock contains 60% -90% mineral mefic. 4.Hipermelanuc rock, is frozen when the rock contains> 90% mineral mefic.
c. Mineral Contain Igeneous rock based classification • Using a table by naming rock W.T. Huang, 1982.
