Communion. The Lord be with you and also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let the church give thanks to the Lord our God. We love to give thanks and praise. You embraced us as your children and welcomed us to sit and eat with you.

  2. The Lord be with you and also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let the church give thanks to the Lord our God. We love to give thanks and praise.

  3. You embraced us as your children and welcomed us to sit and eat with you.

  4. Jesus we do this in remembrance of you. your body is the bread of life. Your blood was shed for our sin. By your grace we are made new.

  5. ‘With your whole Church throughout the world, With our brothers and sisters who meet in Cathedrals, caves, refugee camps , hospitals and prisons we offer you these words of praise and lift our voices to join the choir of angels gathered around your throne.

  6. Lord God, your love compels us to come in. Our hands were unclean, our hearts were unprepared; We were lost but you found us and set us free.’

  7. You are the God of our salvation, You share your bread with those who are broken and bruised by the storms of life. You cleanse us, feed us, and heal us by your body and blood. Fill us afresh with your Spirit, that we may worship you with all of our lives!

  8. Jesus, you rescue us from sin and death and free us to live for you

  9. He opened his arms of love for each and everyone of us upon the cross and made for all the perfect sacrifice for sin. Jesus, you alone are Lord. You alone have the words of eternal life. We follow you alone.

  10. Holy, holy, holy. Lord God almighty. Who was, and is and is to come. Pour out your spirit on us afresh, as we long for that day.

  11. We have come to praise you, Father, Lord of all creation; You love us and made us beautiful We were broken and far from you But you did not reject us, (ALL) You came to meet us in your Son Jesus. You embrace us.

  12. As we proclaim his death and celebrate his rising in glory, send your Holy Spirit. Fill us Lord. Come Holy Spirit. As you met again with those first disciples and sent them out on your mission, send us out Lord. Fill us Lord. Come Holy Spirit.

  13. In Jesus, the Word became flesh  and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,  the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  14. You embraced us in your coming, became one of us in your living, and saved us through your life, death and resurrection.

  15. You were made like us, Fully human in every way, You sought the lost, Noticed the forgotten, Included the excluded, And brought the outsider in. You alone can rescue.

  16. We see you Jesus, Crowned with glory and honour.  Thank you Lord, that you tasted death for me.
