  3. THE BIG QUESTION What do you know about the Border Reivers?

  4. The Reivers travelled under cover of darkness.

  5. They used landmarks in the natural landscape to guide them

  6. Not only did they burn down houses and kill the inhabitants, they also took their livestock home with them.
