1. PMI Stage 1 Brief Entered into Basecamp (by PMI Specialist) 1) PMI Brief is created from ORCA (Previous Edition) and IPS Narrative and then entered into basecamp. PMI Stage 1 Brief (Team Verifies Content in Basecamp) 1) Editorial will work on the PMI first and make changes/edits – once finished they will create a message in basecamp to let the whole team know that they are done and that it is now Marketing’s turn. • Marketing will then go into basecamp and make changes/edits to the PMI – once finished they will need to send a note to PMI Specialist to let them know that the PMI is ready to move to either the copywriter, copyeditor or ORCA. If PMI is going to COPYWRITER, • PMI Specialist will send the PMI Brief to the copywriter • They will put “EDITING CLOSED – with Copywriter” in basecamp – no edits can be made at this time to the PMI. • Copywriter reworks PMI Draft. (1 week turnaround – this time period can be changed due to circumstances) If PMI is going to COPYEDITOR, • PMI Specialist formats the PMI into the Stage 2 Draft and then sends to Copyeditor. • They will put “EDITING CLOSED – with Copyeditor” in basecamp – no edits can be made at this time to the PMI. • Copyeditor will check for grammatical errors, spelling and to make sure all information meets the standards. • Copyeditor sends Final PMI back to PMI Specialist.
