  2. What is a geological feature? Geology is the study of what Earth is made up of, the rocks which make it up, and how it can change.

  4. Landforms We refer to all of the different kinds of land as landforms. Some landforms take a lot of time to form, while other landforms take very little time to form.

  5. Earth’s Water Earth’s water is made of 3 kinds • usable fresh water (1%) • frozen fresh water (2%) • salt water (97%)

  6. Useable Fresh Water The useable fresh water refers to rivers and lakes.

  7. Frozen Fresh Water The frozen fresh water is found in ice caps and glaciers.

  8. Salty Water The salty water refers to the oceans found on Earth.

  9. How does Earth’s surface change? Earth’s surface changes over time due to many different things. Some of these things include: • Chemicals • Temperature • Wind • Living things

  10. What protects Earth? • Earth is protected by a crust. It is a layer of rock that is the outer surface of Earth. • In the ocean this layer is under water. EarthPolice
