  1. What are the Types of Airsoft Guns?

  2. The airsoft guns came into existence in 1980. Airsoft guns are the latest toy gun. The airsoft games are most popular with people worldwide. Because the airsoft guns are exact copy of real guns, weight and reloading process are also same. These guns propel the 6mm non-metallic pellets at velocity ranging between 30-260 m/s as the means of spring-driven piston or compressed gas. It is fun, electrifying and passionate. There are three mechanisms of airsoft guns: Electric powdered gun: It use a battery power for shooting mechanism of the gun. This are most popular with people and quite expensive. The batteries are quite smaller in comparison to the gas canisters its biggest advantage. Automatic electric guns: In Electric-powered airsoft guns it has rechargeable batteries to drive an electric motor and an internal piston/spring shoots the pellets. Semi-automatic operation is which gives the gun a popular name AEGs and Automatic. Guns shooting velocities from 150 to 650 ft/s and firing rate of 100 to 1500 RPM (Rounds per minute).

  3. Gas powdered gun: This gas powered guns has automatic and semi-automatic models. The most commonly used gasses like HFC-134a used in pistols which have plastic sliders with lower pressure, green gas or CO2 which requires an adaptor either attached to the gun by the hose or physically. The pressurized gas propels the airsoft gun BB's. Classic guns are the first gas powered airsoft guns. This guns are most commonly powered by liquid propellants such as R-12 then gamer modified these old guns to be powered by regulated CO2. As power tends used in airsoft pistols where its constraints make electric-powered mechanisms impractical. Where gas is favored and adjustable velocity required. A blowback feature is a mechanism which cycles simulate a real firearm's operation. Because of the mechanical complexities involved with regulating gas, these guns has way to electric guns for less specialized applications, remain favorable amongst most Air softer. They are not just limited to pistols, submachine guns, sniper rifles and assault rifles used in gas mechanisms. If you plan to buy an airsoft with small gas pistols, buy as many gas canisters in one go. It will help you constant trips to the gas provider and help you save lot of time and energy.

  4. Spring loaded gun: These are the least popular as they are neither automatic nor semi- automatic. After every firing the spring need to clock the gun this obviously the rapid succession of the airsoft gun BB's. Shot devices using elastic potential energy stored in a spring compressor. That’s why these guns are incapable of automatic or semi-automatic fire. This airsoft guns are not as much powerful as gas but are more powerful than electric models, spring shotguns are very powerful and shoot at 120– 210 m/s.
