The greatest commandment Matthew 22:37-40 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love (agapao) the Lord your God with all your heart (kardia), with all your soul (psyche), and with all your mind (dianoia).’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love (agapao) your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. Ezekiel 36:26 26 ”I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Romans 12:2 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

  3. THE WAY OF AGAPE How can I possibly love with God’s love? Am I saved? Am I willing to let the Holy Spirit guide me? Am I willing to die to self? Am I willing to be a cleansed vessel of God’s agape love?

  4. HOW DO I LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY HEART? *Asking Jesus into my heart and become one heart with Him *Allow His Life in my heart to be the motivation for all I choose HOW DO I LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY WILLPOWER (MIND)? *Become one will with God *Make faith choices that are not based on feelings *Remember I am crucified with Christ HOW DO I LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY SOUL? *Take bad thoughts “captive” before they become sin *Reflect “Christ” esteem not “self” esteem *Allow God’s agape love to flow through me in my actions
