  1. NCT in Milton Keynes 2017/18

  2. This year the Milton Keynes NCT branch were proud to support you by ….

  3. Running two weekly Bumps and Babies groups and providing taster sessions for local companies Establishing breastfeeding support at both groups once a month!

  4. Organising a very successful (and sunny!) Teddy Bear’s Picnic in the summer with over 70 families attending

  5. Continuing to grow our ‘walk and a cuppa’ group, running throughout the winter Establishing a core group of walkers attending whether rain or shine and still welcoming new mums!

  6. Providing regular First Aid courses which have proved popular and helped the branch raise funds

  7. Running 3 fantastic Nearly New Sales – vital fundraisers enabling us to fund our activities to support parents in MK!

  8. Continuing to build a strong core volunteer team with great engagement from each other This has enabled the MK branch to run many events smoothly and with great enthusiasm

  9. Thank you MK volunteers – you are amazing!

  10. We’vehad our challenges…. Everyone is busy between family and work and it can be challenging at times to coordinate everything Having many ideas, but not enough volunteers to make them happen

  11. This year we want to focus on…. • Continuing our regular activities • Running a summer event. • Helping the local Play Association by running a feeding/changing tent at the local play day. • We hope to fund this by running First Aid courses and Nearly New Sales

  12. Our finances are in a good place, but we need to be careful with spending…. We successfully raised £16,242 to help fund NCT’s work and spent £15,751 supporting parents locally in Milton Keynes We currently have £6,070 in reserve.

  13. We have most of our core team roles filled, but need to recruit for a new treasurer and Parent Support Coordinator Branch Coordinator: Helen Baskeyfield Treasurer: Jessica Rutter (replacement required) Parent Support Coordinator: Peggy Cheyo (replacement required) Membership Coordinator: Alana Challis PSA Link: Peggy Cheyo
