  1. Incredible applications of algae in various industries Algae is a micro-organism that can be found in marine or freshwater environments. These organisms have photosynthesis ability and fast-growing nature. Many Organic marine microalgae products are invented using various marine technologies. Algae has the ability to quench carbon dioxides and nitrogen dioxides from the environment and convert them into biomass. The production of algae benefits multiple industries, like foods, medicines, fuel, and more. Let us see the various applications of algae below: Food industry: Many countries have the habit of doing aqua cultivation. They knew that algae are rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, iodine, zinc, and more. Most of the essential nutritional supplements are packed in algae products. For example, Green algal technologyproductsare used in animal feeds, dietary tablets, capsules, and super food blends as they contain antibiotics and antiviral bioactive substances.

  2. Biofuel industry: Algae greatly benefit the biofuel industry, as these can be grown in laboratory tanks and even in non-arable land with limited water sources. Many species of algae are used in producing carbon- neutral fuels. They have high concentrations of lipids and fermentable sugars, making them an absolute solution for producing biofuels. These concentrations can be easily extracted and concerted to biofuel using algae bioprocess technology. Medicines: As mentioned earlier, algae are rich in essential nutritional supplements, so it is used to produce a wide variety of medicines. The presence of bioactive compounds and primary and secondary metabolites make it a cheap and best solution for manufacturing vaccines. Dunaliella Salina is a green algae product rich in beta-carotene, and antioxidants used in skin care vitamins. Bottom line: The above-mentioned are the applications of algae in several industries. Algae research is going on in various countries to find more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions to the world. With more advancements and evolution in the aqua research industry likely to decrease the price and makes it an affordable solution.
