Electronic I-9: Part 1 (Candidate) Candidates receive information on how to complete Part 1 in their offer letter. Candidates go to “Application Station” and enter the code provided in their offer. This code specifies the facilitator signing them in. They will log-in to “Application Station” and complete their personal information. Business Sensitive

I-9/ E-verify: Step by Step Guide • Log in to Truescreen (If you do not have a username and password contact bcostaffing@battelle.org) • Click on “myI-9/E-verify” • Click on the “[candidate name]” you want to complete • Look at the IDs your candidate has brought with them in order to complete section 2 (Do not make copies) • Click “Submit” • If the form is overdue, select a reason, click “Next” • Select “Click here to submit the I-9 and automatically order an E-Verify” • The information will either verify or send you an error • If you receive an error verify the information submitted and try again, if that fails contact bcostaffing@battelle.org • Click “Finish” • Verify the candidate is employed at Battelle and click “Continue” • Select “Close as employed and Employment Authorized by E-verify” • Click “Continue” • You will see a confirmation page • Close and repeat steps 3-12 for each candidate Business Sensitive

Select “Yes” 16. Click “Continue” 19. Receive your confirmation 20. Click “Close” 12. Choose automatically order E-Verify 17. Click “ Authorized by E-Verify” 18. Click “Continue” 10.
