Sean Christopher Letona Joined The St. Petersburg College As An Adjunct Instructor
Presently residing in Jacksonville, Florida, Sean Christopher Letona has gained huge popularity for his dedication towards work. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, specializing in Psychology, from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Later, he enrolled in the American Military University, West Virginia to pursue a Masters Degree in Homeland Security.
He is an extensively experienced professional and has been able to develop a team oriented and problem-solving approach which is helpful in finding appropriate solutions to the issues at hand. In 1996, he started working as a second class signalman in the US Navy and was later promoted E4 following the completion of Signalman ‘A’ School.
Sean Christopher Letona joined the St. Petersburg College as an Adjunct instructor in 2006. Here, he was responsible for providing instructions to students on the topics related to Defensive Tactics and Office Survival at the Basic Law Enforcement Recruit Academy. In the absence of lead instructor, Sean assumed the role of lead instructor at the institution, supervising written and practical examinations for students.
He also provided students with guidance on improving ground fighting portions and improving the training curriculum. Besides, he also trained classes with a student strength ranging between 15 to 40 students. He has also worked as a police officer in the Pinellas Park Police Department. He carried out investigations for suspected criminal activities, generated detailed reports, and analyzed the sources of information to come up with logical conclusion.
In addition to this, Sean Christopher Letona has also served as a lead case agent for 2 narcotics investigations. These investigations were a part of Federal Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force, and Sean supervised the team of 20 to 30 men in training programs. Apart from this, he also played an active role the designing the curriculum for new training programs on Ground Fighting and Officer Survival.
At present, Sean Christopher Letona is serving a leading mental health care facility as a case manager and is responsible for the preparation of discharge and treatment plans for patients. So far, he holds an experience of maintain a case load of six to thirteen patients. He also conducts special individual and group counseling sessions in order to help patients achieve their treatment goals and manage their illnesses in a better manner.
