He was also appointed as the detailer for Plebe Summer at the US Naval Academy, and seaman in the US Navy, Naval Exchange, USS Carr FFG-52 (Norfolk, VA), Washington Naval Yards (Washington, DC), and Space and Naval Warfare Center.
