How to Eat Your Way to a Flat Stomach
The truth is, your body is a very clever machine. If you insist of starving it of nutrients by significantly reducing your calorie intake, your body will learn to go into "starvation mode". Your metabolism will slow, and then when you next eat, much of what you consume will be quickly stored as fat. Your body does this so that it has somewhere to draw from for energy when it is next starved. So what happens over time is that while you may lose some weight at first, you will very soon put it back on, and more! This is because it takes some time for your metabolism to adjust to your normal eating habits, so it is unable to burn calories as fast as it used to.
