HDPE pipes or high-density polyethylene pipes are pipes that are made from high-density polyethylene thermoplastic which is made from petroleum. The most common pipes that are installed underground are drainage, water circulation, and gas distribution pipes. What is it that makes High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes such a fad amongst pipe makers? In 2008 when the pipe industry saw a decrease of about 15 percent in the United States the sales of HDPE pipes likewise came down but they stayed ahead in comparison to that of PVC pipes.
