Easy Crostini Recipe - Bistro Ravioli
Crostini were made in Italy as a way of using up old bread. Nonnas would cut bread into thin slices, brush it with olive oil and toast in the oven until crisp. Simply cut a baguette into thin slices, brush with extra virgin olive oil and place on paper-lined trays. Bake on 200C until crisp. You can add 2 garlic cloves on the oil, stand for 20 minutes for extra flavor. Serve crostini with the topping of your choice. Our favorite is this crostini with cream cheese, dill, and smoked salmon slices. This is surely a great appetizer on your next get-together.
