Garage Door Spring- What You Need to Know

Many people know that one of the most important components of the garage door but very few understand it and even fewer know exactly why the spring is important. One thing for sure is that your garage door will not function as you may want it to without the spring or when they are damaged. Most modern garage door have two springs which are fitted under very high tension to enable them perform their role efficiently. Whereas the opener is what is credited with movement of the door it is actually the springs which do the lifting. The opener plays an important part but without the springs the door will not move.
