EDMC to launch door-to-door drive for plastic ban

https://www.dailypioneer.com/pioneer-health/page/1 - With aim to create awareness about plastic-borne pollution, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) in association with Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) will launch door-to-door campaign in its areas. The eight days campaign will be launched on October 22. A senior EDMC official said under this campaign, the civic body would create awareness among people about the adverse effects of plastic. Additionally, important information would be sprayed about importance of segregation, collection, storage, processing and disposing of plastic waste, he said.
