Why wall mural painting Had Been So Popular Till Now?
Oxford And artists Pupils Brighten Up Marston Underpass With New Mural For 12 years I've been painting large murals that are commissioned in and around Bristol. The neighborhood mural movement, which began from the late 1960's, produced countless hundreds of large scale wall paintings. They had been concentrated in cities, but every town had a few, such as Indianapolis. These were sparked by the civil rights movement, labor moves, the Chicano movement, and community improvement programs. Hispanic muralists like Clemente Orozco, Diego Rivera, David Sequeiros, and Arnold Belkin affected content and the style of those murals. They were also influenced by graffiti and from advertising art.
