An Overview of Bangladesh Garment Production
Agriculture has been the prime backbone of economy and chief source of income for the people of Bangladesh. Government puts its efforts to decrease the poverty by gaining highest productivity. Apart from agriculture, Bangladesh is much interested in the growth of export division. Bangladesh have accelerated and changed her exports considerably from time to time. Before few years, jute and tea were the most export-oriented industries in Bangladesh. But with the continual riskiness of flood, failing jute fibre prices and a substantial decrease in world demand, the role of the jute sector has deteriorated in the economy. After that, focus has been shifted to the production sector function, especially in garments production.
