Intracervical insemination (ICI) is one of the most established and most normal artificial insemination procedures, going back similar to the 1880s. Like intrauterine insemination (IUI), it includes setting sperm straightforwardly into the lady's conceptive tract to enhance the odds of pregnancy. The principle distinction is that the ICI system puts the sperm test close to the cervix, rather than the uterus as in IUI. From the cervix, the sperm goes up the uterus and into the fallopian tubes to treat the egg. Since the sperm is put further far from the fallopian tubes than in the IUI technique, costs for ICI are commonly much lower.
