One of the most common modes of transportation in and out of Singapore is by taxi. While normal taxis are not granted permission to cross into Malaysia, specially licensed Singaporean taxis are permitted to only go to Larkin Taxi and Bus terminal with effect from 1st Nov 2014 ( previously known as Kotaraya Taxi stand near JB city square). These taxis can be booked from Johor Taxi service, while Malaysian Taxis which can go anywhere in Malaysia can be taken from Ban San St. Taxi kiosk at Rochor Rd.
