You already know the basics u2013 not to store Alkaline Water and always drink it fresh whenever you can. Letu2019s go a bit deeper. It is always recommended that Alkaline Ionized Water should be consumed fresh. But why is it so? You see the most important properties that make Alkaline Water beneficial for your body start to lose their value the longer you store it. And these properties are Micro-Clustering and Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP). The Alkalinity of your water (pH) lasts for about a week when packed in an airtight container. But the other important characteristics are more or less lost by that time. If you believe that youu2019re going to be away from your home for a few days, you can realistically pack Alkaline Ionized Water in airtight glass bottles that are kept away from direct sunlight. The ORP might be a little reduced but when packed properly you can still benefit from the ORP and micro-clustering for one or two days.
