DIY Solar Panels - What Are the Benefits of Building My Own Solar Panel?
Solar hot water systems. These harvest the energy of the sun by heating water which can then go to storage tanks for use later. This article does not focus on this type of system, as most of the information products for DIY solar energy systems relate to electricity generation. I have been researching information products and ebooks concerning how to go about making your own PV panels. The main benefits being touted are of being able to "slash your electric bills" or even "selling excess electricity" back to the power companies. I felt quite excited about this possibility, as you also would. Sadly, in the course of my research, I have felt rather cheated by the claims made for some of these books.
