New Murals Unveiled A complete mural by the Soho drinking den the Colony Room by Michael Andrews sold on September 27th 2008 for # 38,400 in Lyon & Turnbull's Modern and Contemporary Art and Design sale in London. I agree. Though we knew a tiny bit, we learned the hard way. We knew paint hangs on clean walls compared to walls. If the paint is falling off, then don't paint over it get out a scraper. I am not saying artists don't understand that. It's just that they're inside their own groove. I have seen wham, wham, put up this piece of artwork, and it's falling off. In their enthusiasm to paint, they did not take the time to wash and prepare the wall. And some are Self-destructing in their own, and there's nothing you can do.
