George Tkalych is a major fan of the sport of fishing. He often spends free time deep water fishing with his son. He got his start fishing when he began working with the Department of Natural Resources, particularly Fisheries and Wildlife. He served the Department as a Senior Biological Assistant and assessed many types of fish in various Canadian lakes.
