IQ Test Resources
An IQ test is a test purportedly developed to determine a person's intelligence. IQ tests are standardized tests, which indicate they are administered in the very same way to different individuals. In the United States, the usage of IQ tests as a basis of work is prohibited by a United States Supreme Court decision, Griggs v. Duke Power Co., unless the employer can link the IQ test to a person's job efficiency based upon a job analysis. (A task analysis describes and records the skills and other requirements necessary to perform a particular job; for that reason, in order for an IQ test to be enabled as a condition of employment, the employer needs to show that the job performance needs some very little level of operating that can be determined through the IQ test.).
