In Arizona it is known as the Cactus league and in Florida the Grapefruit League. Each March, thousands of tourist flock to stadiums to see their favorite teams play baseball. These fans stay in hotels, eat at restaurants, buy gas and tickets. This in turn pumps millions of dollars in to the local economy making baseball an important part of the business community of both Arizona and Florida.
