Straw man Fallacy. The straw man fallacy is to purposely misinterpret someone's argument by taking their strong argument and setting up a straw man to combat the strong argument that is not what they are talking about at all. Contemporary Example.

  1. Straw man Fallacy The straw man fallacy is to purposely misinterpret someone's argument by taking their strong argument and setting up a straw man to combat the strong argument that is not what they are talking about at all.
